Coffee Setup
This is my current manual coffee setup, focused around precision and repeatability for AeroPress brews.
Grinder – Comandante C40
My main grinder is the Comandante C40 Nitro Blade Black hand grinder.
- Stepless grind adjustment for fine control
- Consistent particle size, great for AeroPress and other filter brews
- Manual grinding keeps the workflow calm and intentional
This is the core of my setup – if the grind is right, everything else gets easier.
Brewers
I use two AeroPress brewers:
AeroPress Clear Link
- Full-size brewer
- Great for experimenting with different recipes
- Ideal for home brews and controlled testing of parameters
AeroPress Go Link
- Compact and portable
- Perfect for travel, office, or brewing on the go
- Same basic functionality as the classic, but more compact kit
Both give me the flexibility to brew wherever I want, without sacrificing quality.
Scale – Acaia Pearl Scale Link
I use an Acaia Pearl Scale for accurate dosing and brewing:
- Measures coffee dose and water weight precisely
- Fast, stable readings for pouring in real time
- Essential for repeating recipes and tracking small adjustments
The scale makes it easy to dial in and reproduce my favourite recipes.
