Welcome to My Second Brain
This site is the public surface of my Second Brain – a place where I park what I’m learning, building and thinking about, so it doesn’t have to live only in my head.
It’s built from my Obsidian vault and published with Quartz, so what you see here is a working notebook, not a polished blog. Notes are living documents: they get updated, split, merged, and sometimes completely rewritten as my understanding improves.
What you’ll find here
This Second Brain mainly revolves around a few core themes:
-
Homelab & Infrastructure
Notes about my self-hosted stack, automation, networking, Synology, containers, backup strategies, and everything that keeps my digital world running. -
Productivity & concepts
How I think about knowledge management, note-taking, workflows, and the idea of a Second Brain itself. -
Mindset & Inner Work
Concepts like self-sovereignty, mental models, and frameworks I use to understand behavior, decisions and change. -
Hobbies & Craft
Things I take seriously for fun: manual coffee brewing, AeroPress setups and recipes, and other hobbies that escaped “casual” status.
Not every note will be complete or perfectly structured. That’s by design – this is a thinking environment, not a finished book. It will get better in time, but as told in my About me, im a dad of my wonderful 2 year old son, I have some hobbies and a somewhat intense job. This thinking space takes time.
Why this exists
I use this Second Brain to:
- Offload information so my head can focus on thinking, not remembering
- Connect ideas across domains (tech, productivity, mindset, hobbies)
- Keep a transparent trail of how my understanding and systems evolve over time
- Share parts of that process publicly, in case it helps or inspires someone else
This is not a promise that everything here is correct or final – it’s a map of where my thinking is right now.
If something looks rough around the edges, that’s normal. It just means you’re seeing it while it’s still being built.
